Since its designation as the enforcement body in Ireland, the Commission has received a vast number of complaints which do not fall within the scope of Regulation 261/2004 and therefore are not within the Commission’s powers to resolve.
Where possible in these situations the Commission directs the complainant to the relevant bodies.
